Drinking wine, we’ve been told, is beneficial to your health. We know better now, but early on some people assumed that it was the alcohol in the wind that was responsible for the healthy benefits. But they were dead wrong.

But first, I want to discuss what resveratrol is, and its often misunderstood relationship to one.

Incredible stuff. But there is a problem with resveratrol, and that is that in order to get enough of it you have to drink lots of wine. Of course this may sound kind of fun, but you quickly realize that drinking so much wine would cause other health problems.
Unfortunately, since you have to drink all the alcohol it’s in that wine, you’re going to largely destroy the benefits of the resveratrol.
